    I think most crimes in Orange are road crimes like driving too fast. I don’t read about many crimes on the newspaper which is always quick to pick up on such things.

    Our Police Department is excellent. Its officers are polite and professional. I have had several conversations with Assistant Chief Martins; he is very approachable and makes one feel comfortable in his presence. Many years ago I took the 8-week course given by the Department and offered to town residents. It was very enlightening and informative. I’m happy to see a similar course will be given soon! Townspeople should avail themselves of it if possible. We have The Best!
